In with the new

Fashion, My photography

Hello again. I am so jealous of everyone going to Glastonbury! I could not stop setting myself up for disappointment this year where Glastonbury tickets were concerned. Firstly I tried to get one when they first went on sale, ignoring the fact our internet connection in Southampton was the slowest ever. I didn’t get a ticket. That was bad enough, but then I decided I was going to give it a shot at the resale. That might have been fine but I quickly realised I couldn’t afford it and sort of half tried to get one, knowing that if I did I would be EXTREMELY poor. I didn’t get one again… which I was sort of glad about. After that I entered a couple of competitions…. it didn’t happen.

Oh well!

I’ve just spent the last of those Topshop vouchers finally 🙂

I’ve just moved out properly from my house in Southampton. This means I have a ton of crap that I don’t know whether I want or not lying around my room. Still, it’s looking a lot better than it did after I had a little revamp.

Gothic style

I love the Goth trend.

Bag by ‘Our lord and saviour’

This winter, the gothic trend is coming back in a big way. So many designers have references to gothic style in there collections, and I’m sure you’ve noticed that crosses are really big at the moment anyway. Tumblr is teaming with Goth/fashion photo’s, it’s probably one of the most universally popular trends of this year. What’s great about it is, there are so many ways you can wear it without looking like everyone else! Here are some different types of goth style for you…

Awesome jewellery, over accessorising is THE way to do it

Sheer fabrics look beautiful, especially in black!

Givenchy fall 2012 – Vampy!

Valentino fall 2012 – lace is the best

Black lipstick/dark shades – not for everyone but on the right person it looks truly awesome.

Emma Stone with some deep red lipstick on combined with this Gucci dress is the perfect Gothic trend example.

That’s just a brief over view of the trend but there is so much more. I’ve made a VERY quick mood board of the trend as well just to show it off a bit more… thanks for reading!

A quick post, involving some nice shoes

Uncategorized

I recently bought these amazing platform wedges from Office for £25… bargain. I saw them a couple of days before I bought them, and decided against it because i’m actually not a huge heel person anyway and these are very high. But ever since I left the shop I couldn’t stop thinking about them, so this resulted in me running into to the shop before work the next day. I’m so glad I got them because they are so comfortable and make me so much taller and long legged (deceivingly).

Another fashion lust of mine ( but not so easy to get hold of) is something/anything from Christopher Kane’s 2011 resort line. The galaxy print is popular still and ebay is full of listings similar to it or actually from it. I have been desperately trawling ebay daily to find something I can actually afford, but they all end up going for way to much…. than I can afford. Here’s some galaxy print lusting for you…
