Here are some pictures from yesterday! They are a follow up to the Bristol graffiti post I posted a few weeks back. Its all part of a feature for Religion magazine, focusing on Bristol’s style. The pictures above were taken at BS8 on park street, an independent clothes shop selling vintage clothing as well as small high street brands. It’s a great place to go if your after something original.

Hey everyone, this week I’ve been in London shooting Shoreditch fashion show ready for it to feature in Religion magazine. The event was a huge success and took place at the Golden Bee in London’s Shoreditch. All the designers that showcased their work were Crystal Mcfarlane, Radhinna, Staple for the cool kids, Lilla Ballazs, Imzy and Joanna Leigh Norton. The event was organised by Wynter Heayes. Sponsors include Electric London and Ten image, lead make up designer – Naomi Lake.
Here are some sneak previews of the photographs I took. If you want to see anymore Religion magazine will be published around the 7th of may 🙂

Hope you all enjoyed this preview, more updates soon on features for the magazine. I have more photographs from this event, of the designers and the models.

(So this week I’ve been working on several different features for my magazine. I don’t post everything I do on here, only snapshots of parts of my work. I get all my ideas through past and present magazines I have enjoyed reading, plus many different ESTABLISHED photographers. I suppose if someone is rigorously going through my blog that can become a bit confusing and some people might start getting very bizarre Ideas, especially if they’ve got a screw or two lose 🙂 It’s always nice when people take a lot of interest in my blog)
I am really excited about the Glastonbury line up… even though I’m not going for definite. I have got tickets on the re-sale before, and I will again!
Next week I’ll be doing some more shoots around Bristol, and hopefully get some street style shots in there. I’ve also got a few exciting written features lined up for the magazine! I’m really happy with the work I’ve done so far, but now getting a bit panicky about the deadline…
Here are some more pictures I have taken over the last few weeks. I’ve got another shoot lined up next week!
This shoot was all about clashing colours with lots of inspiration from alternative fashion sites. I also wanted it to have a slightly dreamy effect.
This was a beauty/portrait shoot I did outside for a separate feature. It was so cold shooting this!
Thanks for reading, any questions just ask me. No crazies though!
I’ve just been out photographing Bristol as part of one of the features for my magazine. It was absolutely freezing outside today, my hands were so cold it was hard to operate the camera sometimes. Here are some of the snaps I took, I still want to photograph Gloucester road and have a go at some street style pics here as well.
So I’m still working on my Final Major Project which eventually will be a magazine. At the moment i’m trying to decide what should be the cover, however I haven’t taken all my photographs yet but it’s just to get the ball rolling! I chose the name Religion, because I think the word looks good and calling any new business ‘Religion’ makes sense if you want people to follow it. It also reflects the fashion trend of religious crosses on everything at the moment. I’m not religious!
Here are a few ideas I have at the moment. Of course it could change as I will be taking more photographs. Most people seem to like the 3rd cover down best?
Let me know if you have any critique!
